This lithograph, drawn with lithographic crayon and scraper on stone, was executed in 1925-26. The British Museum's impression is from the Galerie Simon (Kahnweiler) edition, probably printed by Charlot Frères (or by Desjobert for Charlot Frères); it is one of 50 signed impressions printed on white wove Van Gelder paper, numbered 51/100 to 100/100. 50 impressions were also printed on 'fond chamois' wove Van Gelder paper, numbered 1/100 to 51/100. The print shows the artist's only legitimate son Paulo, at age five, dressed as a young Mozart being read to by his mother, Olga.
