22 Bishopsgate

Sinta Tantra | 22 Bishopsgate

In 2020, *Consultancy was appointed to deliver a set of wall-based works to invigorate the informal dining spaces at 22 Bishopsgate. The project saw Sinta Tantra develop Illuminated, a series of seven hand-painted and gold-leafed site-specific murals for the central social space. The spirit of community, collaboration, craftsmanship and charity embodied by the Livery Companies housed in the Square Mile was the starting point for Tantra’s work, which responds to the palettes of Medieval heraldry and the ethos of wellbeing and creative exchange at the heart of 22 Bishopsgate.

Private Collection

Private Equity Contemporary Art Collection

*Consultancy has managed and developed the contemporary art collection for a private equity’s Mayfair offices since 2013. The collection represents ‘a generation of artists now’, celebrating both emerging and internationally acclaimed artists. Behind a Grade-II listed façade, the building houses works from a variety of media - painting, photography, sculpture and installation. The focus of the collection is on abstraction, strong form and elegance of materials.

Economist Plaza

Economist Plaza Exhibition

For more than ten years, *Consultancy worked with the Economist Group to deliver an artworks programme that energised its plaza with a rolling programme of contemporary art that stimulated debate and made the site a destination for Londoners. Running from 1998-2010, the Economist Plaza programme pre-dated the Sculpture in the City initiative and was a forerunner in the ‘activation’ of public space.
