The Cathy Wills Sculpture Fund was generously initiated by Contemporary Art Society Trustee, Cathy Wills in 2011. The fund enables five museums in the North West of England to develop their collections with contemporary sculpture through co-acquiring works.

Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool
Manchester City Galleries
Victoria Gallery & Museum, University Liverpool
Walker Art Gallery, National Museums Liverpool
Whitworth Art Gallery, The University of Manchester

Three works were acquired through the scheme. These were:
Haroon Mirza, A Sleek Dry Yell (2008)
Brian Griffiths, Bear Work Wear (black) (2011)
Helen Marten, Exfoliating curve lines (total cushioning) (2014)
