Jackson Tang Ceramics Award

Jackson Tang Ceramic Award
Jackson Tang Ceramic Award

The Jackson Tang Ceramic Award is a new fund, designed to support a major acquisition of ceramic work.  Recent years have seen a significant increase of interest in ceramics and many artists have adopted the medium without formal training.  Rather than limiting the Award to either artists whose primary material is ceramic, or those who employ the process and material occasionally (studio ceramics, or sculptural or conceptual practice), we open the scheme to both Fine Art and Craft scheme members.  Each application will be considered on its own merits.

Contemporary Art Society Museum Members are invited to apply with a proposal to acquire work they consider will have a significant impact on their collections. Both UK and international artists/practitioners will be considered. Deadline for applications is 5 April 2019, 17.00, if you have any questions regarding applications please do get in touch with Christine Takengny at Christine@contemporaryartsociety.org.
