The membership of £1,200 per year for the Fine Art Acquisitions Scheme and £350 for the Craft Omega Fund offers a range of opportunities to Members. The current membership stands at 70 institutions that hold approximately 100 collections.  We ask for a commitment from new Members for a minimum of four years.

Membership provides access to the following:

The Acquisition Scheme: works are acquired with funds from the CAS and gifted to the Member Museum. Each Member Museum is guaranteed a work every four years on the condition that the Museum Member commits to the necessary time and resources to research and identify work for purchase.

Strategic Initiatives: eligibility to apply for Great Works, The Collections Fund and Valeria Napoleone XX.

Gifts and Bequests: eligibility for gifts and bequests managed through the Contemporary Art Society.

The National Network: As of 2016, Museum Members now join our National Network programme, the Subject Specialist Network for Contemporary Art in the UK. Organisational membership provides access for your team to a year round programme of events, seminars, conferences and national and international research trips, with travel bursaries available.
