The Walls Are Talking is the first ever major UK exhibition of artists’ wallpapers and includes work by Damien Hirst, Anya Gallaccio, Sonia Boyce, David Shrigley, Michael Craig-Martin and Abigail Lane amongst others.
The exhibition traces the development of contemporary artists’ interest in wallpaper, demonstrating how they have appropriated its domestic and decorative associations to throw into relief their subversive messages.
Join us for an exclusive evening hosted by Director Maria Balshaw, and a privatetour of the exhibition led by Curator of Wallpapers Christine Woods.
