Brunch and special viewing of Tacita Dean’s exhibition Wandermüde

Exclusively for Contemporary Collectors, Frith Street Gallery host a champagne brunch preview of Tacita Dean’s new exhibition Wandermüde, at their new gallery space in Golden Square, Soho.

Dean has selected works relating to both British and German subject matter, brought together by the idea Wandermüde, which translated means “the exhaustion at the prospect of travel”.  It includes a new film about the poet and translator Michael Hamburger and his self-grown orchard in Suffolk and her series of found postcards featuring trees, which she has transformed by painting the background detail with white gouache (see image).
