When Pictet moved into their London headquarters – over three floors of a newly-built Norman Foster building – the Contemporary Art Society was appointed to develop a museum quality collection.
Working closely with Pictet’s CEO, the Contemporary Art Society articulated the collection themes and managed the logistics of purchasing works. CAS Consultancy oversaw all aspects of developing the collection, including the publication of a collection catalogue and guided tours for staff and clients.
The collection reflects the dynamism and energy of place, including the urban versus the rural, issues around environment, and the need for contemplative, meditative space. The works acquired or commissioned reflect and complement the strong minimal aesthetic established by the Norman Foster building.
