The Contemporary Art Society Consultancy team curated a loan collection for Circle hospital in Bath. Many of the pieces encourage contemplation and provide welcome moments of humour and wit within the hospital environment.
Circle Hospitals are committed to transforming the patient experience and redefining healthcare. Their art programme was commissioned by Rory Coonan, Head of Design and Architecture for Circle’s sister company Health Properties and a former Head of Architecture and Public Art at the Arts Council. The Contemporary Art Society began work with Rory on Circle Hospital in Bath when the Norman Foster designed building opened in 2009.
The collection includes work by Tim Renshaw, Axel Antas, Bobby Patmore, Carole Graslan, Nadine Feinson, Jane Ward, Daniel Andersson and Fiona MacDonald.
