statement

My practice straddles live art, video, and installation, currently exploring recognizable formats within contemporary popular culture (board games, game shows, pub quizzes, and auctions) as sites to playfully explore art and life. I utilize familiar frameworks and different modes of interaction to consider accessibility and the nature of engagement, using humour as a strategy to engage audiences and diversify ideas.

My work is concerned with knowledge production and knowledge as commodity; by re-activating and playfully destabilising our relationship to knowledge, I aim to facilitate debate and dialogue around politically contentious and socially driven ideas, questioning various social and political systems of power.
