Continuing Contemporary Art Society Consultancy's ongoing collection work for Aspen, we recently curated a collection of Irish contemporary art for a newly opened Dublin office.
The artworks selected represent the core values of this international company, giving each office a unique identity by focussing on locally based artists. Here, Ireland provides the inspiration and subject for many of the works: the natural landscape and issues of memory and identity addressed through imagined and real places.
Works have been acquired from both established artists and those at the early stage of their career who are showing great promise. For Dublin, works from photographer Simon Burch, painters Sinead Ni Mhaonaigh and Elizabeth Magill, and collage artist Sean Hillen form a part of the international collection.
