Following the amazing success of 2009's ‘Gothic’ – the first fundraising event held by the Contemporary Art Society, SYSTEMS took place on 10 March 2010 set amidst the iconic towers of Battersea Power Station.
The Contemporary Art Society is extremely grateful to Sotheby’s for their generosity and incredible support in hosting the preview exhibition and conducting the auction. Special thanks are due to Oliver Barker, Maureen Hooft-Graafland, Cathriona Powell, Lydia Soundy, and their colleagues, for their commitment to Systems.
As a longstanding patron of the arts, we are sincerely grateful to the boutique House of Champagne Perrier-Jouët who has supported the Contemporary Arts Society for the past five years. We are delighted that Perrier-Jouët has given us magnificent support for Systems.
The Contemporary Art Society offer their warmest thanks to Hallett Independent, specialist in art insurance, for sponsorship of the insurance requirements for Systems.
None of this would be possible without the generous support of Industri Management for enabling the Contemporary Art Society to host this event at the iconic Battersea Power Station.
In addition, the Contemporary Art Society is indebted to:
