Building on the increasing profile of this annual event we are pleased to announce the 2012 gala entitled LEAP! taking the leap year date, Wednesday 29 February 2012, as a point of departure and will develop further cues from a circus related venue.
LEAP! promises an evening spectacle with marvels, eccentricities, illusions - an art auction and dinner to benefit the work of the Contemporary Art Society held at the wonderful and enigmatic Farmiloe Building, 34 St John Street, London EC1M 4BE.
Chaired once again by one of our Trustees, Sarah Elson, with the generous support of a Committee of major collectors and philanthropists, the event promises new works being commissioned along this theme for sale on the night.
The artworks specially commissioned for LEAP! will be available online for viewing purposes from 14 February 2012. We will be accepting absentee bids up until 5pm on Friday 24 February 2012.
